Drive-Through Real Estate – The Interactionless Transaction

Did you know that I can sell your house for you without even having a “real” conversation with you?

You can send me an email asking me to list your house, I can do an analysis of your property to determine value, send you an electronic listing agreement that you sign online, put your house on the MLS, receive an electronic offer, negotiate the terms of the agreement, sign a contract, and have your house sold without even seeing your face.

This is the new reality……”Drive-Through Real Estate.”

The human element has been driven out of so many areas of our lives, and real estate is no different. It doesn’t make it a bad thing…it’s just a sign of the times. My younger clients would rather text me, or send me an email vs having a conversation over the phone – it’s quicker, and easier for them….and that’s okay.

Just make it fast and easy with as little interaction as possible.

I’m not saying this is the way I prefer to do business. I help you navigate your real estate transaction in a way that is most effective for you. I’ve learned to become chameleon – I adapt my communication color to the style that best fits you.

My goal is to make this the best real estate experience of your life.

Understanding your style is a key component to my goal. If that means we have a face to face meeting once a week…..no problem. If that means we only have electronic communication…..I can do that. If that means you and your ex-wife can not have any interaction during this transaction…..understood – done deal.

Bottom line – technology is driving efficiency in every industry. Does everyone like it?….NO. Does everyone use it?….absolutely not. Can it be leveraged to make a real estate transaction more efficient?….YES. Do I leverage technology in my transactions?…..If my client is comfortable with the tech…..most definitely.
